Lingyun Zeng

PhD Student

King's College London

Lingyun Zeng is a PhD student at Robotics and Vision in Medicine (RViM) Lab, King’s College London (KCL), UK, supervised by Dr. Christos Bergeles and Dr. Hongbin Liu. His primary research interest is on investigating modelling and control techniques for dynamic systems, especially for continuum and soft robots. Force sensing and control on flexible robots are of his significant interests as well. Currently, he is working on mechanics-based modelling and reduced-order modelling for hybrid continuum robots.

Before that, Lingyun Zeng was an academic master student at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he worked on mobility analysis, Cosserat-rod-based kinetostatic modelling, and motion control of a parallel Continuum Delta Robot, under the supervision of Prof. Kai Xu.
