Harris currently is a PhD student at the CDT working on augmenting the capabilities of iOCT imaging through incorporation of real-time AI in the acquisition and processing pathways towards the creation of a robust navigation system that guides therapy implantation in vitreoretinal surgery, under the supervision of Dr. Christos Bergeles and Prof. Lyndon da Cruz. Furthermore, he is a member of the Robotics and Vision in Medicine (RViM) Lab at King’s College London (KCL).
Harris graduated with a MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2019. His dissertation focused on Medical Simulation for Surgery training and planning in Human Respiratory System. He also did his internship at Surgical Robot Vision Research Group of University College London (UCL) and worked on 3D Ultrasound Reconstruction of malignant masses in kidney.
